Yes. Solaris supports plumbers, heating engineers and installers at different experience levels. We can discuss the design, documentation and technical support your project needs, with responsibilities agreed before work begins.
-
Support can include heat pump system design, equipment specification, heat-loss calculations and plant and electrical schematics. The scope depends on the project and the services you need from Solaris.
-
Yes. Solaris can work with installers who source equipment themselves, as well as provide design and specification support. Discuss your proposed equipment with us early so suitability and compatibility can be assessed before purchase or installation.
-
Solaris can carry out heat-loss calculations to inform equipment selection. The design should account for the building and intended system temperatures, alongside hot water requirements. Floor area or the output of the old boiler alone is not enough to select the new unit.
-
Contact us to discuss the project and the certification arrangement. We will clarify the agreed scope, documentation and responsibilities. Working with Solaris does not automatically make your own business MCS certified; the appropriate requirements must be met for each arrangement.

Solaris can support the application process for eligible projects under an agreed delivery arrangement. The scheme is installer-led and applications must be handled through the appropriate MCS-certified installer. Eligibility and responsibilities should be confirmed before commitments are made to your customer.
